Helen Huiet England, 84, of Spartanburg, formerly of Johnston, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Magnolia Place. Born July 14, 1928, in Johnston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jacob C. and Elizabeth Tennant Huiet. Mrs. England was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Circle #7, the H. F. Chreitzberg Sunday School Class, the Altar Guild, former secretary for Wallace Concrete Pipe Company, Columbia, SC, and worked with the First Presbyterian Church Mother's Day Out Program. She attended Winthrop University and Columbia Commercial College and was also a member, for 52 continuous years, of the Clemson IPTAY Club. Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Bernard "Bernie" Taylor England; sons, Huiet England of Cramerton, NC, and Dan England of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and her sister, Margaret Huiet Campbell of Greenville, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, December 21, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. David E. Nichols and the Rev. David B. Smith. Burial will be in Harmony United Methodist Church, Johnston, SC.
