Helen Bush Corn, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Home, Bolivia, NC. Born February 18, 1928, in Batesburg-Leesville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Hattie Reese Bush and widow of Carroll Corn. Mrs. Corn was a member of Little River United Methodist Church, Little River, SC and a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church near Spartanburg, SC. She was retired from Aug W. Smith and Belks of Spartanburg, SC. Survivors include a son, Jeff Corn (Ann) of Irmo, SC; two daughters, Susan Clayton (Ricky) of Calabash, NC and Ann Proctor of Spartanburg, SC; one grandson, David Clayton of Spartanburg, SC; also Tammy Autry (Ronnie), Austin and Chase Autry of Surfside Beach, SC, Scott Proctor (Michele) and Grayson Proctor of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Freddie Bush of Batesburg-Leesville, SC, Wyman Bush of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Faye Reynolds, Myrtle Bush, and Elaine Hallman of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; and her beloved companion, "Tucker". In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold Bush. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 797 Old Georgia Road, Moore, SC 29369. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Jim Oliver. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice House of Brunswick, 955 Mercy Lane SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.
