Helen Belle Cudd Corn, 97, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Maranatha Manor of Spartanburg. Born November 22, 1916 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Lily Anders Cudd and widow of the late Charles William Corn. Mrs. Corn was retired from Beaumont Mills where she worked as a warper tender. She was a member of Camp Croft Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Frances Helen Hammett of Spartanburg, SC, Charlotte Ann Jones of Pacolet Mills, SC, Denise Sue Figueroa of Jacksonville, FL, and Debra Lee Bowser of Inman, SC; son, Johnny Blaine Corn of Woodruff, SC; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judy Deanna Bible; sisters, Emma Lou O'Sullivan, and Ann Mittag Cannon; and brother, Jimmy Cudd. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 2:45 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, with services following at 3:00 PM in the chapel conducted by Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, 3535 Clifton Glendale Road, Glendale, SC 29346. The family will be at their respective homes.
