Heather Panther

Heather Denise Panther, 35, of 618 Stewart Road, Spartanburg, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 27, 1974, in Smithville, MO, and reared in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of William Daniel and Sandra Pettit West of Roebuck. She was a clinical manager at Interim Hospice, a graduate of USC-Spartanburg, and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents is her husband, Scott Panther; three children, Kelly Panther, Brittiany Panther, and Chris Panther all of the home; two brothers, Thomas Russell (Russ) Moore of Moore, and Shannon A. West of Inman; two sisters, Ginger Earnhardt of Roebuck, and Melissa D. West of Spartanburg; and maternal grandparents, Mack and Patricia Pettit of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Chris B. Snelgrove and the Rev. David M. Blanton.
