Hazel Walker

Hazel Walker, 88, of Spartanburg, died Monday, December 10, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 28, 1924, in Spartanburg, she was the widow of Jack Walker and daughter of the late Charlie Lee and Bonnie Vehaun Fowler. Surviving are her daughters, Ann McAbee and Becky Walker of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Tammy Smith, Ken McAbee (Lin), Marty Walker, and Elizabeth Walker; and great-grandsons, Jason and Daniel Smith. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Walker; and son-in-law, Larry McAbee. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Andy Case. Visitation will follow at the graveside. The family is at their respective homes.
