Haskell L. Junkins

Haskell L. Junkins, age 93, passed away on January 6, 2024, in Boiling Springs, SC.  He was born on November 15, 1930, in Anderson, SC to the late Litchman Junkins and Lessie Broadwell Junkins.  Haskell is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nancy Snow Junkins.

Haskell was a veteran of 16 years having served in the Army National Guard.  He also gave 10 years of service to the SC Highway Patrol, followed by over 20 years of employment with Kenan Transport as an Operations Manager.  Haskell was of Baptist faith.  He was also a member of the Shriners and had 50 years with the Anderson Masonic Lodge.  He is predeceased by his parents and stepmother, Elaine Junkins.

The family would like to thank Wesley Court Assisted Living and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care of Haskell during his decline in health.

The service will be at 2:00PM on January 10, 2024, with visitation from 1:30PM to 2:00PM in the Good Shepherd Memorial Park-Mausoleum, 4164 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.  Services will be conducted by the Reverend Norman Band.
