Harry Ford

Harry A. Ford, 80, of Spartanburg, died Friday, October 2, 2009, at Woodruff Manor. Born February 9, 1929, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late William Bascom Ford, Sr. and Coddie Allen Ford. He was retired from Mayfair Mills after 45 years of service. Survivors include a sister, Kathryn F. Brininger of Allegan, MI; a brother, William Bascom Ford, Jr. of Spartanburg; a sister-in-law, Lois Ford of Spartanburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers, Harold Carlyle Ford, William Boyce Ford, Alton Ford, Thomas Franklin Ford, and John Ralph Ford. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Scott Linnerud.
