Harry Nathan Coward, 90, of 400 Webber Road, died Monday, December 7, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 11, 1919, in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of the late John Clark and Anna Sue Epps Coward. He was first married to the late Mary McSwain Coward. He was a retired sheet metal worker and retired from Southern Railway after 35 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of Bethany Baptist Church, a 50 year member of Glendale Masonic Lodge #271, and a Shriner. Survivors include his wife, Alma Burris White Coward; and a daughter, Virginia Sue Coward Spiers and her husband Jack of Houston, TX. He was predeceased by a son, John Earl (Johnny) Coward. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Glenn Rusher. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, P. O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304; or to Bethany Baptist Church, P. O.
