Harriette Witt

Harriette Stafford Witt, 70, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 7, 1939, in Dutchman, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Oliver and Lille Mae McKinney Stafford. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son, James H. Stafford and fianc Denise Rowe of Campobello; two brothers, Horace J. Stafford of Roebuck, and James S. Stafford of Forest City, NC; two grandsons, Brent Hammett of Spartanburg, and Lee Coker of Greenville; two granddaughters, Crystal G. Stafford and Madison Stafford of Spartanburg; two great-grandsons, Maddex Harrison and Jayden Reid of Spartanburg; and a great-granddaughter, Savannah Lee Coker of Greenville. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel conducted by the Rev. Joe White. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
