Harold Webb

Harold James Webb, 86, of Eden Terrace Evergreen, formerly of 609 Webb Drive, died Sunday, April 4, 2010. Born June 6, 1923, he is the son of the late Harmon and Susie Byars Webb. He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, Liberty Men's Club, Whitney Masonic Lodge # 264, and a Mason. Mr. Webb was formerly employed as a machinist with Draper Corporation and was a United States Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife Geneva Clayton Webb; a son, Donnie Harold Webb and wife Myra of Spartanburg; a daughter Connie Webb Pearson and husband Tommy of Inman; three sisters, Helen Lancaster, Judy Sienkiewicz, and Jeanette Frady, all of Spartanburg; two brothers, Ervin Webb of Spartanburg and Stanley Webb of Chesnee; four grandchildren, Chaplain (Cpt.) Charles Todd Pearson, Jason Kyle Pearson, Joseph Webb Pearson, and James Gregory Webb; and four great-grandchildren, Thomas, Reagan, Jackson, and Clayton Pearson. He was predeceased by a sister, Ada McClellan; and two brothers, Arthur Webb and Wilford Webb. Visitation with Masonic Rites will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Dr. Jack Howard Walters and Chaplain (Cpt.) Charles Todd Pearson. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home, 609 Webb Drive, Spartanburg, SC.
