Harold Dean Oxford, 55, of Converse, SC, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born January 4, 1957, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late William Harold and Barbara Jean Colman Oxford. Mr. Oxford was a veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and employed by Consolidated Tires. Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Bridgett Ann Carpenter Oxford; sons, William Dean Oxford of Spartanburg, Steven Gary Oxford and wife Jena of Boiling Springs, and Travis Dale Oxford of Boiling Springs; granddaughters, Shelby Ann, Hannah Mae, and Natalie Noel of Spartanburg, Kinsley Taylor and Aubrey Everleigh of Boiling Springs; sister, Becky Hurt and husband Robert of Pacolet; and brother, Mike Oxford of Gaffney. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Oxford; and brothers, Timothy Scott and William Gary Oxford. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Henry Coley and the Rev. Fred S. Quidley.
