Harold Gosnell, Jr.

Harold Boyd Gosnell, Jr., 71, of Pacolet, SC, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 21, 1944, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Harold Boyd Gosnell, Sr. and Ruth Carson Gosnell. An avid golfer and former member and president of the Pacolet Lion's Club, Mr. Gosnell was also a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He retired as postmaster of the Pacolet Post Office and was formerly employed as a supervisor with the Spartanburg Post Office. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vicki Bryant Gosnell; daughters, Lori Gosnell Lominack (Jamie) and Kelli Gosnell Hardigree (Matt), all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Anne Harrison Lominack, Carson Overstreet Hardigree, Ella Ruth Hardigree, Davis Williams Lominack, Mary Caroline Lominack, and Matthew Christian Hardigree; sister, Maxine Gosnell Calvert (Harry) of Goose Creek, SC; and a number of nieces, great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, 385 Stone St., Pacolet Mills, SC 29373. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church by the Rev. Norman L. Band. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372.
