James Harold Dyke, 78, of Cowpens, SC, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Born January 12, 1937, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Rosa Lee Henderson Dyke of Cowpens, SC, and the late James Grady Dyke. He was married to the late Geneva Hood Dyke for 41 years. Mr. Dyke retired from Southern Distributors, Inc. after 30 years of service. He was a Shriner, member of Arcadia Masonic Lodge #285, and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his daughters, Jenny Lynne Dyke of Greenville, SC and Sue Ann Robinette and her husband Brian Robinette of Wellford, SC; grandchildren, Ashley, T. J., Heather, Katelyn, James, Ryan, and Keith; great-granddaughters, Hannah, Allyson, and Isabella; great-grandson, Gael; and significant other, Geri Henderson of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his father and wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Johnnie Edward Dyke. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by Pastor Bill Henderson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
