Harold Bailey

Harold James Bailey, 54, of Gaffney, SC, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at his home. Born February 5, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Billy Robert Bailey, Sr. and Ruth Ann King Bailey. Mr. Bailey was fully retired from the U. S. Army after 22 years of service, served as the Commander and Quarter Master of VFW Lodge #3447 Wild Cat Post, a graduate of University of South Carolina-Spartanburg, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sheri Bailey; daughter, Salena Selva Bailey; brothers, Billy Robert Bailey, Jr., Charles Lee Bailey, and Kenneth Edward Bailey; his first wife, Umit Semra Bailey; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 3447, c/o Military Services of Gaffney, 901 S.
