Harland Bryant

Harland Eugene Bryant, 86, of Pacolet, SC, died Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 11, 1929, in Pacolet, he was the son of the late Edgar and Cecil Bean Bryant. Mr. Bryant loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, retired from Michelin, and a graduate of Spartanburg School for the Deaf and Blind. Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Marion Painter Bryant; daughter, Sandra Cook (Tommy) of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Thomas, Katilyn, and Coleman Cook, all of Moore, SC; and sister, Frances Robinette of Pacolet, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery, 310 W. Main St., Pacolet, SC 29372.
