Hank Weaver

Hank Thomas Weaver, 56, of 158 Thelma Drive, died Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 31, 1953, in Hart County, GA, he was the son of Katherine Joanne Cherry Weaver and the late George Thomas Weaver. He was an auto mechanic with Dill's Garage and was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Selina Kaye Allen of Charleston, and Samantha Lynn Wilbanks of Whitmire; a son, James Thomas Weaver of Spartanburg; his girlfriend, Debby Steadings of Spartanburg; two sisters, Ruby Deborah Saunders of Spartanburg, and Rena Kay Wright of Enoree; a brother, Larry Wayne Weaver of Spartanburg; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel conducted by the Rev. Gary Long and the Rev. Dr. L. H. Buff. Burial will be in Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson, SC. The family is at the home of his sister, Debbie Saunders, 8 Williams Street, Spartanburg.
