Guy Fowler

Guy L. Fowler, 72, of Cowpens, SC, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his home. Born March 8, 1944, in Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Dorsey and Myrtle Childers Fowler and husband of the late Kay Fowler. He retired from Clarkson Industrial Contractors and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include sons, Randy Fowler of Cowpens, SC and Mark Fowler (Christene) of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Lee Kerr (Brent) of Jonesville, SC; grandchildren, Cheyenne Kerr, Kerry Fowler, and Chris Fowler; brother, Leroy Fowler (Mary) of Goucher, SC; sisters, Hazel Fowler (Kenneth) of Cowpens, SC and Earline Golicher of Union, SC. Along with his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by brothers, Sherman Fowler, L.D. Fowler, Grady Fowler; and sister, Helen Fowler. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, 175 Cemetery Street, Cowpens, SC 29330, by the Rev. Andy Case.
