Gregory "Greg" Clyde Moore, 66, of Spartanburg died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at his home. A native of Spartanburg, he was born on March 22, 1957, a son of the late Walter Maynard (Bud) Moore, Jr. and Betty Juanita Clark Moore.

He was Team Manager for Bud Moore Engineering and worked in NASCAR racing his entire life. He was the host of “Start your Engines” radio show and  a historian for NASCAR racing.

Surviving is his wife, Roberta, stepson, Michael Jason Albus of MA; brothers, Daryl Moore (Carol) and their children, Melissa Moore Padgett (Tommy) and Candace Moore Glover (Tommy) and Brent Moore, all of Spartanburg along with several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. A private entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex.
