Grace Cochran Riddle, 94, formerly of the Arkwright Community, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 15, 1916, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dock Marion and Susie Smith Cochran and wife of the late Charlie Thomas Riddle. She was a member of Beaver Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include Shirly Welborn and her husband Robert; two sons, Harold T. Riddle and Clarence E. Riddle and wife Brenda all of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a special nephew Clarence Fortner. She was predeceased by a grandson, Harold T. Riddle, Jr.; a great-great-grandson, Christopher Salinas; a daughter-in-law, Tina Riddle; a sister, Lillian Fortner; and a brother Clarence Cochran. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David High and the Rev. David Slatton. Visitation will follow the service at the chapel.
