Grace Ellen Davidson Jackson, 93, of 1049 Wildwood Lane, died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at her home. Born July 6, 1916, in Darlington, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Moody and Ida Conyers McKnight. She was first married to the late Herbert Wallace Davidson and was the widow of Heyward Jackson. She was the director of Woodland Heights Recreational Center and former Grand Matronof the Roebuck Lodge of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, Ricky R. Davidson of Spartanburg; a daughter, Tavette Easler and her husband Dennis of Drayton; a sister, Emily M. Pack of Spartanburg; a brother, Franklin McKnight of Augusta, GA; two granddaughters, Jill Davidson and Kim Rawley, both of Simpsonville; and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to Mobile Meals Services, P. O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
