Goldie Bryant

Goldie S. Bryant, 87, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at White Oak Manor. Born April 23, 1927 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Vernon "CV" and Izora Brown Sprouse. She was retired as an Educator - Supervisor at the S.C. School for Deaf and Blind. She was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church and was the organist for over 60 years. Survivors include seven nephews, one niece, and several great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, W. Aligie Bryant. Visitation will be 1:00 - 1:45 PM Monday, February 2, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, at The Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jack Caldwell. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Oak Manor, 295 East Pearl Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
