Gloria Pruitt

Gloria Jean Allen Pruitt, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at her home. Born December 9, 1942, in Selma, AL, she was the daughter of the late Harold O. Allen and Celeste A. Godfrey Allen. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, George A. Pruitt; children, Scottie Pruitt and Angela Stephens (Allan), all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Heather Stephens and Cole Stephens; and brother, Bobby Godfrey (Glenda) of Inman, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Michael Todd Pruitt. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303, by The Rev. Ty Childers and The Rev. Gary Atkins. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
