Glenn Campbell

Glenn Thad Campbell, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at his home. Born October 21, 1943, in Cosby, TN, he was the son of the late Lush and Lena Campbell McMahan. Mr. Campbell was a member of Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church and the Senior Saints. He retired from Tietex International and was also a member of Fairforest Masonic Lodge #393. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Judith Babb Campbell; children, Debbie Campbell Pye of Spartanburg, SC, Glenn Thad Campbell, Jr. of Clifton, SC, Len Scruggs (Amy) and Sharon Hasty (David), all of Spartanburg, SC; nine grandchildren, Alex, Patrick, Ethan, Matthew, Haizlee, Dillon, Caylee, Nic, and Cody; one great-grandson, Bentley; sisters and brothers, Brenda Seay, Ann Smith, Sammy McMahan, and Kenny McMahan, all of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Lena Mae McMahan; and brother, Keith McMahan. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by Dr. Todd Black. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC 29376. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church, 104 Fairview Church Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
