Glen Lancaster

Luther Glen Lancaster, 80, of Lyman, SC, died Monday, November 13, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1937, in Spartanburg, SC, the son of the late Wilburn Wilson Lancaster and Kate Odessa Duncan Lancaster and husband of 43 years to the late Yvonne Stevens Lancaster. A 10 year veteran of the SC National Guard and graduate of Fairforest High School, Mr. Lancaster retired from Kohler and was a longtime employee at WundaWeve. He attended Little Mountain Baptist Church, was a member of the Bojangles Breakfast Club, held a lifetime membership as a York Rite Mason, and was also a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple. Survivors include his daughters, DeeDee Lancaster of Moore, SC and Dana Lancaster Aron and son-in-law, Daniel Aron of Davidson, NC; and grandchildren, Brice Lancaster Aron and Ryleigh Katherine Aron of Davidson, NC. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son-in-law, Terry Jenkins. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Friday, November 17, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307 with funeral services following at 12:00 noon, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tim Williams. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
