Gladys Sprouse

Gladys M. Sprouse, 97, of Roebuck, SC, died Monday, January 20, 2020, at Woodruff Manor. A native of Spartanburg County, born November 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lon and Gladys McBee and widow of George T. Sprouse. Mrs. Sprouse was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, the Deborah Sunday School Class, and retired from Arrow Automotive. She loved to travel and her favorite place was Israel. Surviving are daughters, Patricia Dill of Moore, SC and Ellen Sharpton of Cowpens, SC; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Hazel McCarter of Pawleys Island, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Tim Ramsey. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
