Gladys Quinn

Gladys Lawson Quinn, 85, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday February 14, 2012. Born January 17, 1927, in Glenn Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Victor and Mary Farmer Lawson, and wife of the late Oliver H. Quinn. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Buffalo, SC. Survivors include her son, Phillip M. Quinn and wife Cheryl of Reidville; daughter, Kelly Quinn Branham and husband Mitchell of Woodstock, GA; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Kathleen White and Frances Roper, both of Spartanburg, Lottie From of Union, Carolyn Newman of Murrells Inlet, and Linda Payne of Orangeburg. She was predeceased by her sister, Thelma Sceals; and brother, James Dupre Lawson. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Todd Lowe. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
