Gladys Easler

Gladys Millwood Holland Easler, of Spartanburg, died Monday, July 4, 2011, at her home. Born January 28, 1920, in White Stone, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce Lee and Carrie Fowler Millwood. Gladys was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn H. Scruggs; a grandson, Barry Scruggs, who was raised in her home; a brother, Jack B. Millwood; and a sister, Margaret Powell, all of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 AM Friday, July 8, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Blackwell.
