Gisela Otto

Gisela Otto, 85, of Spartanburg, SC passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at her home. Born November 9, 1929, in Beckdorf, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Helmuth and Hertha Schulz-Ayecke. Mrs. Otto was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, who loved and treasured her family. Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Dr. Wolfgang Otto; sons, Martin Otto (Kathleen) of Austin, TX, and Stephan Otto of Kalamazoo, MI; daughter, Karin Madden (Tim) of Las Vegas, NV; and 12 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 415 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, with Pastor Mike Shackelford officiating.
