Ghassan Yousef Eid "Gus", 52, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, September 9, 2018. Born October 24, 1965, in East Beirut Lebanon, he was the son of Yousef Habib Eid of Spartanburg, SC and Sana Shalhoub of Lebanon. He was a member of St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Massihieh Elias Eid; brother, Marwan Eid of Atlanta, GA; and sister, Rita Roman of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 9:00-9:45 AM Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church, 1215 S. Hwy 14, Greer, SC 29650, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00 AM, conducted by The Rev. Christopher Smith. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
