Geroline Lowe

Geroline Dorman Lowe, 90, formerly of 106 Brookside Road, Spartanburg, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at White Oak Estates. Born July 16, 1921, in New Prospect, she was the widow of Claude Clement Lowe, Jr., and daughter of the late Carl Grover and Bernice Foster Dorman. Mrs. Lowe was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Foster's Garden Center. She was an active church member, avid gardener, and sports enthusiast. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Wayne Lowe, Gerald Douglas Lowe, and Claude Scott Lowe and wife Susan, all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Dr. Philip Lowe and wife Adrienne of Charleston, and Brady Lowe Cutler and husband Patrick of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Boyd Cadet Lowe and Earl Patrick Cutler, III. She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Hargette; and brothers, Grover Desmond and Desmond Dorman. Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM Monday, April 9, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by Pastor Scott Linnerud and the Rev. Dr. James W. Crocker. Burial will be in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
