Geraldine Pool

Geraldine "Dean" Taylor Pool, 72, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, 21, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 2, 1948 in Laurens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Strickland Taylor. A graduate of Cecil's Business College, Mrs. Pool was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church who loved Jesus and reading her Bible. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, plants, cooking, and crocheting. Mrs. Pool enjoyed making and sending out cards to friends and acquaintances. She was a people person and very selfless. Survivors include her husband, Samuel W. Pool; daughters, Dana Owens (Lancie), Melissa "Lisa" Pool and Joy C. Rinehart (Adam) all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Kayla (George), Daniel, Taylor, Sam (Sierra), Austin and Becka, and great-granddaughter, Ella. Crpytside services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by Pastor Jeff Valentine. Visitation will follow cryptside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rejoice Lutheran Church, PO Box 445+, Inman, SC 29349.
