Geraldine Kirby

Geraldine Martin Kirby, 83, of Pacolet, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at her home after courageously battling a long illness. Born October 16, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Broadus and Florence Martin of Pacolet Mills. Geraldine is survived by her husband, H. L. Kirby; daughter, Mitzi Kerr Caldwell (Bobby) of Spartanburg; son, Ronnie Kerr (Judy) of Jonesville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepchildren; and six step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers; one sister; and her precious dog, Tutu. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2013, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Mitch Trammel. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
