Geraldine "Jerry" Duggan Finotti, 102, widow of Lester Harrison Finotti, died Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at The Inverness at Spartanburg. A native of Madisonville, TN, she was born October 19, 1914, to the late Robert W. and Fannie L. Haun Duggan. Mrs. Finotti was a charter member of St. James United Methodist Church in Spartanburg and recently attended Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Columbia, SC. She retired from Aug. W. Smith Co. Department Store and also from Parrott's Flowers. Surviving are three children, Sharon Caggiano (Frank), Richard Finotti (Pam), and Katherine Finotti; stepson, Lester Harrison Finotti, Jr.; grandchildren, Katie Caggiano (Becca), Franklin Caggiano, Annie Caggiano, Ashley Caggiano, Caroline Butehorn (Chris), Mark Collins (Sarah), Scott Collins (Ashley), Eliza Avery, and William Avery; and great-grandchildren, Darby Butehorn, Emory Butehorn, and Vivian Baird Caggiano; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her eldest daughter, Sandra Finotti Collins; brothers, Winston and Wilson Duggan; and her sister, Imogene Mason. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. A. Mickey Fisher. Visitation will follow the service at the home of her daughter, Katherine Finotti.
