Gerald White

Gerald D. White, 61, of Duncan, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at his home. Born April 26, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Eugene Daniel and Lee Mira Sherbert White and the husband of the late Harriet Jane Lanning White. He was a former Project Manager for O'Neal Engineering, Inc. Survivors include a son, Gerald D. White, II and his wife Sarah of Duncan; and a sister, Diane Fowler of O'Fallon, MO. He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra McAbee. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Westwood Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Danny Garrett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home of his son, 339 East Pheasant Drive, Duncan.
