Gerald Johnson

Gerald William "Will" Johnson, 52, of Spartanburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Will was born in Spartanburg on March 12, 1968 to Katherine "Kay" Cox of Spartanburg and the late Joe William Johnson. A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, Will, was a kind and caring man that loved his family deeply and valued his friendships throughout his life. His life revolved around family and he was overjoyed with his role as a grandfather for the last several years. Will's love, friendship and sense of humor will be sorely missed by many. In addition to his mother, he leaves behind a daughter, Jessica Johnson; grandson, Owen Johnson, granddaughter, Ava Pruitt; brother, Jay Johnson and extended family. A celebration of life service will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
