Georgia Brown Giles

Georgia Brown Giles, 84, of Spartanburg, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at a local nursing home. Georgia was born on January 26, 1942, in Greenwood, MS, a daughter of the late Willie and Alice Jackson Collette. 

Georgia was a woman of many diverse talents, having worked as a sales representative for Gombert Volkswagen and Mutual of Omaha Life Insurance Company, and as a customer representative with Olin Mills Photography. She enjoyed her time as a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross. A member of Aglow International, she was a faithful viewer of The Encouraging Word Ministry of First Baptist Church-Spartanburg.

Surviving is her daughter, Elisa Kay Grace McCullough; her son, Charles Clay Grace; her 6 grandchildren, Zayvion McCullough Rogers, Matthew Mims, Isabella Mims, Alyvia McCullough, Alyssa McCullough, and Lily McCullough; and her two brothers, Jimmy Collette and Eugene Collette.

A memorial service to remember and honor Georgia’s life will be planned for a later date.
