George Hrysikos

George Constantine Hrysikos, 41, of 556 Old Iron Works Road, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born June 18, 1969 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Annastasia Mitsou Hrysikos of Spartanburg and the late Constantine George Hrysikos. He attended the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg, was a Restaurateur, and a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Ramona Ruskin Hrysikos; a son, Constantine Nicholas Hrysikos; two daughters, Alaina Anatasia Irene Hrysikos and Ava Isabella Hrysikos; a sister, Dorothy H. Kalogirou and husband Kosta of Spartanburg; a brother, Dimitrios C. Hrysikos of Spartanburg; and a nephew, Evan Kalogirou of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, with a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, conducted by the Rev. George F. Nayfa. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
