George Everts

George Robert Everts, 76, of Spartanburg, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at his home. Born November 3, 1935 in Jacksonville, NY, he was the son of the late George Homer and Nora Lucy Patterson Everts. Mr. Everts was retired from the construction industry. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Sharon Louise Fitzpatrick Everts; daughters, Terri Camp of Pauline, Karen Lanford, Laura Crowe both of Spartanburg, and Kris Hames of Roebuck; sons, Steve Everts of Romulus, NY, and Bob Everts of Spartanburg; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Reeves of Roebuck, Sue Weber, Betty Weber, and Barb Wilson, all of Interlaken, NY; and brothers, Bill Everts of Spokane, WA, Dick Everts of Lodi, NY, and Jim Everts of Interlaken, NY. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 starting at 12 noon at this home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
