Geneva Clayton Webb, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Summit Hills. Born March 23, 1927 in Duncan, SC, she was the daughter of the late Sire Pate and Ruth Brashears Clayton and the widow of Harold James Webb. Geneva was retired as a secretary with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after 28 years of service. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Donnie Harold Webb (Myra) of Spartanburg, SC, a daughter, Connie Webb Pearson (Tommy) of Inman, SC; grandsons, Charles Todd Pearson (Jamie) of Sneads Ferry, NC; Jason Kyle Pearson of Lexington, KY; Joseph Webb Pearson (Mariah) of Boiling Springs, SC; James Gregory Webb of Spartanburg, SC; six great grandchildren, Thomas, Reagan, Jackson, Clayton, Josie and Lizzy; and sisters, Shirley Gilreath of Inman, SC and Lucy Nolan of Morristown, TN. Along with her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by siblings, Inez Floyd and William Carroll Clayton. A Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Andrew Wolfe and Mr. Charles Todd Pearson. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 2095 Chesnee Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
