Geneva "Ginny" Mary Cantrell King, 94, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Born July 28, 1921, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Burtman Cantrell and Emma Silvers Cantrell and widow of Calvin G. King. Mrs. King was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was employed at Woolworth's Dime Store Luncheonette for 25 years. Survivors include her children, Rev. Terry King (Carol) of St. Augustine, FL, Jane Epps (Carroll) of Spartanburg, SC, and Kay Lee of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter-in-law, Geraldine King of St. Augustine, FL; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Rev. Michael Bryan King; brother, Charles Cantrell; and sisters, Vera Seay, Ann Waltrip, and Della Helderman. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Terry King, the Rev. Kevin Loftis, the Rev. Shawn Rhinehart, and the Rev. David Mattox. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
