Gene Lamb

Gene Franklin Lamb, 66, formerly of Cowpens, died Friday, December 21, 2012, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC. Mr. Lamb was born on February 12, 1946, a son of the late Clarence Preston Lamb and Mary Louise Waddell Lamb Williams. He was a wholesale automobile dealer, a Mason, a Shriner and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife, Sandra Gale Cartee Lamb; his sister, Doris Lee Smith of Garden City, SC, his nieces and nephews, Debbie Martin, Paul Harrison Lamb, Jr., Janice Smith Sialiano, Dianne Griffin, David Lamb and Steve Lamb; his step-children, Jody Paxton and Misty Brezillac; and numerous great and great-great nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Sara Lamb and a brother, Paul Harrison Lamb. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Pickens. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
