Gellette Dickerson

August 6, 1932 — December 14, 2010

Gellette G. Burgess Dickerson, 78, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace Dickerson. She was employed by Fowler Brothers Cleaners, N. Church Street, Spartanburg, was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, and attended Sheffield School of Interior Design. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Wood-Allen of Inman; a son, Michael Burgess and his wife Charlotte of Easley; two additional sons, Edward Dickerson and wife Becky of Spartanburg, and Donnie Dickerson and wife Sonya of Gaffney; grandsons, Scott Camp of Easley and Travis Burgess and wife Caroline of Easley; a granddaughter, Dori Wood of Inman; two great-grandchildren, Seth Camp and McKenzie Burgess of Easley; a loving and devoted sister, Tracy Crawford of Pickens; and a loyal feline companion, Peanut. Cryptside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone and the Rev. Bill Adams. Visitation will follow the service at the cryptside. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or The Encouraging Word, P. O.
