Gaylen Richardson

Gaylen Sue Rogers Richardson, 59, of Campobello, died Sunday, January 13, 2013, MUSC-Charleston. Born July 24, 1953, in Springfield, MO, she was the daughter of the late Alba Oral and Ora Opal Graves Rogers. Gaylen was the past owner of the Decorating Den franchise in Spartanburg and co-founder of Animal Allies in Spartanburg. She received her Bachelors Degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. Surviving are her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" L. Richardson; brothers, Gary Rogers (Pauletta) of Ozark, MO, Rick Rogers (Penny) of Pleasant Hope, MO, and Randy Rogers (Ruth) of Stratford, MO; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jane Roseberry (Sam) of Boones Mill, VA; and her beloved feline and canine family consisting of six cats and one dog. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, January 21, 2013, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ken Kirkley.
