Gary Douglas King, 55, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. Born September 16, 1956, in Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of Ira Paul and Carrie Maxine Cotton King. He graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1974, graduated from USC in 1981, and was a state champion wrestler. He was employed by GE Gas Turban Division in Greenville for 20 years, and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Additional survivors include his wife of 23 years, Marcia Elaine King; a son, Michael Douglas King of Spokane, WA; a brother, Steven King of Inman; a sister, Melinda King of Inman; two nieces, Stephanie MacLeod of Inman and Morgan Osburn of Boiling Springs; and a nephew, John Osburn of Boiling Springs. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev.
