Gail Thomas

Gail Thomas, 72, of Spartanburg, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010. Born December 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William Coy and Johnny Opal Lankford Gwinn and wife of the late David L. Thomas. She was the co-owner of Thomas and Sons Tuxedos and Formal Wear, a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Adult Four Sunday School Class, and former President of The Spartanburg County Gamecock Club. Survivors include a sister, Louise Smith of Roebuck, SC; a God-daughter Lauren Lethco of Summerville, SC; her special pet Pepper Dog Thomas; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin Ronald Gwinn and sister, Carolyn West. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be private.
