Freida Strickland

Freida Elaine Millwood Strickland, 51, of 317 Tracy Court, formerly of Duncan, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at her home. Born August 12, 1958, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Melton Eston Millwood of Duncan and the late Eula Louise Arledge Millwood. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to her father is her husband, Michael W. Strickland, Sr.; a son, Michael W. Strickland, Jr. and Laura, a daughter, Kimberly Strickland and fianc Jamie Lambert, a granddaughter, Taylor Abernathy, and a grandson, Tyler James Strickland, all of Spartanburg; three sisters, Sheila Pearson of Lyman, Donna Watson and husband Lyle of Greenville, and Pamela Millwood of Landrum; and two brothers, Larry Millwood of Gaffney, and Randy Millwood of Duncan. Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 noon Friday, October 2, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev.
