Freddy Dowden Jr.

Freddy Anthony Dowden, Jr., 40, of Greer, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at his home. Born January 12, 1971, in Ruston, LA, he was the son of Freddy Anthony Dowden Sr. and Kathy Alexander Dowden of Spartanburg. Tony received his BS Degree in non-profit administration from USC-Upstate. He was of the Church of God faith. In addition to his parents, survivors include his sister, Faith Dowden of Spartanburg; brother, Chad Dowden (Amy) of Greer; his wife of 15 years, Dawn Peak Dowden of Taylors; children, Caleb A., Kai J., and Cody G. Dowden, all of Taylors; and paternal grandmother, Aline Dowden of Lake Charles, LA. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 30, 2011, in Taylors First Church of God, 709 Brushey Creek Road, Taylors, SC 29687, conducted by the Rev. Nathan Leasure.
