Fred Ogle

Fred Andrew Ogle, 75, of Greer, died Monday morning, December 31, 2012, at his residence. He was born on June 1, 1937 in Gaffney, a son of the late Theodore Andrew and Letha Rhinehart Ogle. He was a member of North Spartanburg Church of God where he served on the Pastor's Council and was a driver for United Parcel Service (UPS) for 31 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, June Messer Ogle; his daughter, Lisa Ogle Steadman and her husband, Dennis, of Greer; his grandson, Brandon Steadman and his wife, Lauran, of Greer; his step-granddaughter, Christina Steadman of Greer; 3 brothers; 2 sisters, and his beloved dog, Tiny. Mr. Ogle was predeceased by 2 brothers and a sister. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2012, at North Spartanburg Church of God, 2069 Chesnee Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A private family cryptside service will be held Friday, January 4, 2013, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. Larry D. Flippo. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to North Spartanburg Church of God, 2069 Chesnee Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
