Franklin Howard Glass

Mr. Franklin (Frank) Howard Glass, 84, of Pacolet died Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his home. A native of Pacolet Mills, he was born on January 21, 1939, a son of the late Amos Franklin and Clara Marie Pugh Glass and was married for 61 years to the late Gail Robinson Glass. 

He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years and then retired from Vulcan Materials after 18 years of service. He was a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church. 

Surviving is his daughter, Rhonda Hampton (John) of Rincon, Ga., son, Brian Glass of Pacolet; four granddaughters, Alexandra Glass, Chelsea Smith (Fonzie), Sommer Glass, Courtney Ashburn (Blake) and four great grandchildren. 

Graveside services with Military honors will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier.
