Frank Barros Troitino, Jr., 77, passed into Heaven on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, with his family by his side, in Boiling Springs, SC. Born in Pousada, Galicia, Spain on August 6, 1935, he was the son of the late Frank G. and Asuncion Barros Troitino. Frank immigrated to the United States as a Master Stone Mason. He left behind for generations to enjoy, his incredible stonework that is dotted throughout the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and the Tunnel Road Tunnel in Asheville, NC. A very humble and modest person his kind heart and hard work was legendary to those who knew him. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Troitino McCraw (Paul) of Boiling Springs, SC; two sons, Frank Barros Troitino, III and Danny Ray Troitino (Madonna), all of Fairview, NC; five grandchildren, Jada, Alex, Tyler, Noah, and Hayden; two sisters, Erundina Cabadas (Jose) of Asheville, NC and Brenda Troitino of Beckley, WV; and nephews, Lino and Frank. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Friday, November 23, 2012 at Floyd's Boiling Spring Chapel with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by Fr. Timothy M. Gahan.
